How cute are these DIY Clothespin Airplanes! My son recently watched Planes: Fire and Rescue and he is OBSESSED. So naturally we had to make some cool airplanes!
This craft is SO easy and takes almost no time to put together. Doesn’t that just sound like the perfect craft?
We actually used this DIY clothespins airplanes craft as a part of our letter of the week focus. As we put the planes together, we emphasized that the word Airplane started with the letter A!
We even decorated our plane accordingly!

How to Make DIY Clothespin Airplanes
To make one airplane you’ll need one clothespin, 2 regular popsicle sticks and 1 small popsicle stick. If you want to make your airplane colourful, now is the time to paint your popsicle sticks and clothespins or draw on a simple design. Make sure you wait for everything to dry before you proceed.
Next, glue the two regular-sized popsicle sticks to either side of the clothespin. You’ll want to do this on the end of the clothespin that opens.
After that, glue the smaller popsicle stick onto the opposite end of the clothespin.
Lastly, let everything dry and enjoy your DIY Clothespin airplanes! Repeat for however many airplanes you want to make!
